Data Scientist trained at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, focused on applied machine learning and artificial intelligence, with published end-to-end projects: predictive models on educational data, an open housing dataset with a DOI, and human activity recognition from sensor data. Ten years translating complex information into decisions for non-technical teams across clinical, sports and teaching settings led me to specialise in data as the basis for decision-making. Interested in machine learning and deep learning applied to problems with measurable consequences.

Human Activity Recognition from IMU Sensors
- Activity classification from accelerometer and gyroscope time series: preprocessing, signal windowing and feature extraction.
- Benchmarking of classical models against neural network architectures.
Alicante Housing Market Analysis
- End-to-end data pipeline on 1,802 property listings: collection, cleaning, geocoding and geospatial enrichment.
- Market segmentation into price clusters and identification of the key drivers of property value.
- Released as an open dataset with a DOI.
ED-Alert
- Analysis of early school leaving across Spanish regions and against Europe (ELET indicator), combined with PISA 2022 data.
- Identification of the strongest predictors of dropout risk using Random Forest, and detection of natural student groupings with MCA.
- Interactive Tableau visualisation for vocational-training guidance counsellors.
Experience
Vocational Education Teacher, Healthcare
- Designed and led a teaching innovation project connecting the healthcare vocational curriculum with the working environment. Coordinated a five-person working group; over 100 students took part in its first year.
- Technical communication of complex content to non-specialist audiences.

Sports Physiotherapist
- Head of the physiotherapy area, managing one physiotherapist and interns.
- Built an injury recovery tracking system in Excel — structured intake forms for athletes and a reporting dashboard for the coaching staff — reaching 100% squad availability in the 2020–21 season and over 90% in the following ones.
- Decision-making and communication within a multidisciplinary performance team of coaching staff, strength and conditioning, and medical services.
